Thank you for booking with The Molloy in Treasure Island. We appreciate your business and will do our best to exceed all of your expectations. We strive to be a boutique, family oriented resort that provides a personal touch. Below are our terms and conditions.

Cancellations

All cancellation requests must be initiated in writing by the guest through the website in which they booked. Cancellation requests received prior to 7 days from arrival date will receive a full refund with the exception of non-refundable reservations. Cancellation requests received within 7 days from arrival date for canceling the entire or portion of a reservation, refunds of deposits or full payments, no shows, or early departures after check-in will result in a 50% loss of the remaining funds in additions to the deposit, remitted to The Molloy. Cancellation requests for all non-refundable reservations will not be eligible for any refund. If a non-arrival, late arrival, early departure, cancellation, or alteration results in a loss of revenue to The Molloy, it will be charged.

 

A deposit of the first night’s rate + tax will be taken at the time of the reservation confirmation. For all non-refundable reservations, the entire amount of the stay will be taken at the time of the reservation confirmation.

Any remainder of funds owing will be charged on the date of arrival on the method of payment provided at the time of the reservation confirmation.

Act of god

Subject to the The Molloy Cancellation Policy herein, it is expressly agreed that The Molloy will not be held responsible and will not issue a refund for any reservations that are canceled, prevented, restricted or interfered with by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation, earthquake, fire, flood, Act of God, hurricane, red tide, storms, wars, civil or military disturbances, environmental hazards, or any other cause whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of The Molloy. In the event you attempt to cancel your reservation, arrive late, depart early, or otherwise alter your reservation as a result of any of the foregoing, you will be subject to The Molloy Cancellation Policy as detailed herein.

 

Maximum occupancy is listed on the reservation description for each property or room. The renter may not entertain any visiting guests on The Molloy property. While very unusual, if a situation warrants it The Molloy also reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement immediately without refund.

We do not accept reservations from anyone under 24 years of age. We do not allow persons under 24 to occupy an accommodation unless accompanied by someone over 24 years of age.

Occupancy

 

All rooms will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after upon the termination of each reservation. All linens are will be provided and changed. Daily housekeeping will not provided in an effort to fulfill our commitment to green practices. Reservations over 4 days will receive housekeeping once every 3 days. Laundry baskets are available in each room. Placing the basket outside containing dirty linens will result in the basket being refreshed with clean linens.

In the event of cancellation, refunds are as follows: Please refer to the above stated Cancellation Policy. Cancellations, non­arrivals, late arrivals, early departures or alterations that result in a loss of revenue for The Molloy, will be charged.

Refunds

 

Guest will be charged the following amounts for failure to return items signed out: $30 Grill Kit, $250 Beach Umbrella. White chaise lounges can be brought down to the beach. PLEASE BRING THEM BACK WHEN YOU RETURN. IF CHAIRS ARE LEFT ON THE BEACH, THIS WILL RESULT IN A $100.00 FINE.

Parking is very limited on the property, so only 1 car per room is permitted and vehicle must be registered at time of check in.

The Molloy no longer allows pets on the property with the exception of service animals with the proper paperwork. All reservations made prior to this change on 6/16/21 will be allowed to bring pets at a rate of $20 per day.

The Molloy does not retain a security deposit, however, we reserve the right to pursue guests for smoking infractions and other damage that may occur to a room.

The renter agrees to be responsible for all damages incurred. After your departure the accommodation is checked by Housekeeping. The accommodation must be left in reasonable and clean condition or extra cleaning charges may be imposed. In the event that it is found that the accommodation incurred careless damage, requires excessive cleaning, or has missing items, the guest acknowledges and agrees their credit card will be debited to replace said items at the fair market price. Customer agrees to pay reasonable attorney fees and all court costs and expenses to enforce this agreement including appellate proceeds with or without legal proceedings.

This is a SMOKE-FREE resort. A $250 room recovery fee will be charged for smoking in guest rooms.

This agreement shall be governed and enforced according to the laws of the State of Florida. The prevailing party in any lawsuit to enforce any provisions of this agreement shall be entitled to an award of attorneys fees, cost of expenses for mediation, arbitration and trial or appellate proceedings. This agreement contains the entire agreement of the parties. It may not be changed orally, but only by agreement in writing signed by the party against who enforcement of any waiver, change, modification, extension or discharge is sought. Renters cannot assign or transfer this agreement.

The Molloy shall not be liable to guests or to any party for any damages to property or for the injury to persons on the premises from any cause whatsoever, including defects in the premises or otherwise: guests shall indemnify and hold harmless The Molloy from any and against all liabilities, claims, expenses, fees, loss of use of actions of any and any kind arising out of renters or their guests use and occupancy of the premises. The management is not responsible for accidents, injury or loss of personal belongings of any kind.

The Molloy is not be liable for any items left behind. All items found will be kept for no longer than 30 days. The guest is responsible for any mailing/shipping charges.
